Job Description

The Bid Management Team manages all of the open procurement bids for NGA Human Resources (UK and Ireland).  This includes all of the procurements arising through OJEU and Government Catalogues as well as strategic proposals to existing clients. The annual TCV of bids worked on exceeds £120m pa [CW1] and the bid team has a major impact on NGA’s success in winning new business and driving the growth of the business. 


The Bid Manager will directly line manage a team of Bid Support staff as well as forging excellent working relationships across the Sales and Pre-sales teams and wider organisation to manage the overall production of the highest quality professional bids which are aligned with client’s needs and look to maximise our opportunity of success.


Although based in Bristol the Bid Manager will be expected to travel throughout the UK when required, building excellent relationships with colleagues across the organisation.


This role is a demanding role which will require a highly organised and driven individual who is able to effectively manage their team in working to tight timescales, multi-tasking to ensure that all bids are managed to the highest quality standard and meet all legal, commercial and technical requirements.

  • Experience of Bid/Tender database tools (eg Qvidian) and Customer Relationship Management systems
  • Use of proposal automation systems
  • Team management experience, motivating and encouraging constant improvement
