Areas of responsibility:

This role would suit a Contractor demonstrates confidence and resilience with ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-past environment. The successful person will also be credible and trustworthy with excellent stakeholder management skills to gain the confidence of internal and external stakeholders.

·         working closely with various departments, assisting line managers to understand and implement policies and procedures.

·         promoting equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organisation;

·         advising, developing and facilitating policies on issues like working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures and absence management;

·         advising on pay and other remuneration issues, including promotion and benefits;

·         advising on employment law;

·         dealing with grievances and implementing disciplinary procedures;

·         planning, organising and sometimes delivering training - including inductions for new staff;

·         Taking notes/acting as a witness at investigatory/disciplinary meetings

·         Advising and ensuring compliance of TUPE

·         Review various HR reports with a view to working with the business to provide further information/ audit, raise / resolve any anomalies

·         Working with HR BP on employee engagement initiatives
