Marketing Project Manager Job Description
It is proposed the Head of Digital be hired as a contractor to undertake the following activities:

  • 6-month contract
  • Day rate £350-450
  • London based with some regional travel
  • Reports to Marketing Director
  • 1 or 2 direct reports

Marketing Programme Manager/Project Manager
Following private equity acquisition, NGA UK needs to separate from the global NGA brand and launch as a new ‘HR tech’ business in 2019. This creates and amazing opportunity for you as the Marketing Project Manager to lead the delivery of all digital and marketing projects to launch of an entirely new company.

This is a start-up opportunity in a business that already has a large client base, over 1,500 employees and significant revenues.
Deadlines for this project are very short and you’ll be required to do all that it takes to deliver the project on time.

Key activities

  • Work with key marketing business leads (including the Marketing Director, Head of Brand, Head of Digital) to define the scope of the Rebranding and Website development and other marketing related projects
  • Work with wider business stakeholders and agencies to ensure all requirements are gathered and project information is shared in a timely manor
  • Develop the plan for these projects identifying timescale and resources required
  • Identify external dependencies on the project
  • Mobilise the project teams
  • Drive progress, taking responsibility for delivery within the times as defined in the plan
  • Manage issues, risks and other project management processe
  • Communicate about and act as an advocate for the projects
  • Regular accurate reporting to the Transformation Director
  • Manage the programme budget
  • Manage any business change associated with the project in conjunction with the Transformation Director
  • Close down programme and handover into BAU marketing operations



Job Requirements

  • An experienced programme manager, used to running business critical programmes and projects with significant business change aspects
  • Experience of working with marketing related projects, and ideally specific experience of rebranding projects
  • Self-starter able to work with limited supervision in a rapidly changing business environment
  • Able to travel to various NGA-UK locations – including, but not limited to, Peterborough, London, Bristol, Birmingham and Hemel Hempstead
  • Good communicator able to communicate appropriately with various groups in the business including the marketing team, executives and create board level presentations
  • Comfortable working in matrix organisations with reporting lines into the CMO and Transformation Dire

Salary Package
