Job Description

Here at PeopleChecking we conduct pre-employment screening on behalf of our many clients as 71% of employers have encountered misinformation on CV’s at some level.  We provide a wide range of pre-employment checks ranging from employment referencing to Criminal Record Checks and many more as we know many employers do not have the scope to complete these checks themselves.

As a referencing administrator within PeopleChecking, your main role would be to complete these pre-employment checks for your clients in a pro-active and timely manner, using your initiative when required to improve the overall customer experience provided. You would be expected to be an advocate of the company, constantly providing feedback on customer experience and processes in order to improve the overall customer experience.


Complete pre-employment screening checks on behalf of clients in line with departmental SLA’s and processes to ensure each client receives an excellent customer experience.
Answer inbound calls, from clients, candidates and referee’s, providing excellent customer service at all times and ensuring all queries are fulfilled in a timely and efficient manner.
Follow all relevant processes and procedures to ensure all tasks undertaken are completed accurately, prevent repeat calls.
Be familiar with the PeopleChecking products and services to enhance the overall client experience.
Maintain your own knowledge of PeopleChecking products and services as new clients come on board.
Apply company policies and procedures.
Provide fantastic customer service to everyone you come into contact with (including clients, candidates and referee’s) to enhance the overall customer experience.
Be an ambassador of the NGA HR brand values.
Take ownership of all work actioned to ensure that your ‘Right First Time’ target is achieved, preventing unnecessary repeat calls/emails into the department.
Take ownership of your own personal development and performance against company objectives. 
Take ownership of your own self development.
Be able to understand the different types of checks offered by PeopleChecking and be competent in processing these checks in line with company process (these checks include: Financial, Employment, FSA, CRC, PVG, Academic, Directorship, Sanctions and Driving License checks).
Be responsible for setting up and maintaining new accounts for clients.
Develop and maintain good working relations with all clients.
Use the referencing system in accordance with company procedures and training.
Ensure that Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) with each client is achieved.
Ensure that your productivity and quality measures are achieved.
Be able to carry out administrative tasks associated with the referencing process.
To perform all duties in accordance with the company Health & Safety and Quality policy procedures
There may be additional activities to perform from time to time in order to maximise the contribution to NGA H
