Our Consulting practise (RCS) has a requirement for a Commercial Leader to drive a small but enthusiastic Commercial team, own and further develop the relationship with the Sales Teams and work closely with the newly formed central Pricing Team to ensure competitiveness whilst tracking towards P&L targets.

 

The individual will:

  • Prepare and present a weekly pipeline view of future consultancy work
  • Further develop the working relationship with the Sales organisation
  • Play a leading role in the RCS Leadership team, with regular exposure to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT)
  • Represent RCS at the Project Approval Board (PAB) forum
  • Have accountability for RCS pricing and supporting the delivery of the P&L target
  • Have input into proposed discounting and impact on the RCS P&L
  • Have accountability for the RCS contract schedules and play a leading role in the re-engineering of the customer contracting process
  • Ownership of the RCS pricing models and continuous development thereof
  • Support all pre-sales activity from an implementation perspective, ensuring all queries raised by prospects relating to implementation are answered fully and efficiently
  • Provide implementation expertise, where required, to support the completion of customer RFP documentation
  • Play a leading role in the implementation of the newly selected ERP/CRM platform, assisting with requirements, use cases and testing
  • Chair all Customer Briefing Calls (and own the associated processes), ensuring that the project teams have received a full knowledge transfer from the Sales team
  • Work pro-actively with the consulting teams to ensure the correct number of days required to deliver specific activities are documented and incorporated into the pricing model

Skills and experience

  • Project and/or Programme Management experience
  • Analytical approach with an eye for detail
  • Experience of working within complex sales cycles
  • Able to understand contractual documentation and translate into a consumable format
  • Pro-active, self-starter
  • Strong MS Excel skills
  • Line Management experience
  • Able to work to deadlines
  • Full working knowledge of the PIM methodology, or experience of delivering significant HR/Payroll systems implementations
  • Able to travel, whenever needed, to visit prospects, customers and various NGA locations
  • Good presentation skills in both sales environments and at a Board level
