Job Description

As an Senior Commercial Account Manager, you will be required to nurture and grow relationships with approximately 20 existing customers with up to approximately 10,000 employees. This will also include strategic planning in order to identify opportunities for selling whitespace and Managed Services. Working closely with other Account Managers in the team you will have targets based on generating incremental Annual Recurring Revenue and selling additional services. Considerable travel will be required:


Key Tasks & Responsibilities:


  • Exceed personal goals and financial targets
  • Be an active part of the team and ambassador for our business
  • Forge excellent relationships with our customers
  • Provide references from you territory in supporting new business
  • Identify and close new revenue opportunities
  • Retaining our customer contracts
  • Accurately forecast resource requirements, revenue recognition and deliverables measured via Salesforce CRM

You will have:


  • Proven track record of performance against targets with ideally a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the Payroll & HR market
  • Good all round communication skills (written, telephone, presentation)
  • Proposal writing – to ‘sell not tell’
  • Negotiation Skills (i.e. Contracts and cost proposals etc.)
  • Management Skills (i.e. managing clients and their expectations, internal resources, time, etc.)
  • Capacity to understanding our Company Solutions/
  • Service and the benefits they can deliver to clients
  • Capacity to communicate this understanding and the benefits to the clients
  • Driving Licence
  • Ability to travel to client locations. (including overnight stays when applicable)
  • A need to work outside of normal business hours from time to time.
